Robert Sabetay was raised in Akron and Barberton Ohio. After returning from WWII he went into the auto glass business with his father. Barberton Glass was one of the larger regional players in the installation of auto glass, as well as residential, and commercial construction. For 61 years the business thrived and survived thru the ups and downs in the heartland of the industrialized Midwest. Robert lived in a time when your word was your bond and lawyers were not needed to conduct business.

Bud was married to Betty for 57 years until her passing on the Fourth of July in 2010. Robert has two children Bonnie Burte (husband Dr. Kerry Burte) and David Sabetay, and three grandchildren; Amy and Alex Burte who live in Cincinnati, Ohio and Evan Sabetay in Denver, Colorado.
